Description
Monarda Citriodora “Lemon Bee Balm” although its leaves are edible, it’s sometimes referred to as ‘lemon mint’ and it’s in the mint family Lamiaceae, Monarda citrodora is not a true mint. The foliage is aromatic with a soft hint of lemon, the young leaves are edible and can be cooked and used to flavour foods or raw in salads. A pleasant lemon flavoured tea can also be made.
